Holloween
Our Halloween-Pre Thanksgiving Party was a great success on so many levels. There were the great bountiful food selections, beautiful decorations, magnificent creative costumes, artistically carved pumpkins, and prizes galore. Everyone was in the holiday spirit, and contributed to our food selections, door prizes, and helping in the clean up. Once again Grampas Restaurant came thru with all the fixing’s for our main meal, which was a turkey dinner for thirty people. Members supplied the appetizers and desserts. People got in the spirit of the grab bag gifts, especially when they were able to take gifts from other members. Certain items were more desirable and became very popular to swap, over and over. It was all done in good humor. There are certain people that made this event possible, and I need to thank them personally. First are Art and Sue for arranging the use of their clubhouse. They made sure the rooms were clean and in order for us, and oversaw the clean-up so we would be welcomed back. Second are Ron and Steve who took charge of all of the table settings, and helped me with the room decorations. A special thanks to Turbo for all the great photos to remember the event. Finally, a special thanks to Tommy at Grampas Restaurant for his continuing his support of our club.
